The same standards of excellence we apply to business aviation are also inherent in our support of the communities where we live and work.

Savannah, Ga.

Our commitment to the Savannah metropolitan area (home to our largest site and corporate HQ) is well known. Gulfstream and its employees are the two largest contributors to the United Way of the Coastal Empire. In addition, we support approximately 60 separate local charitable organizations and activities every year.

We also make significant charitable contributions to Habitat for Humanity, Bethesda Home for Boys, Hospice Savannah, the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, all the public colleges and both local Savannah hospitals.

Charitable Sponsorships

During the annual Savannah Music Festival, more than 15,000 students participate in free performances made possible by the Gulfstream Music Education Series. We are also a major corporate sponsor of the Live Oak Public Libraries Savannah Children’s Book Festival, the school tour program of the Telfair Museum of Art, the Savannah Black Heritage Festival, and many similar community programs and events.

Community Leadership

To formally acknowledge our leadership role in civic affairs, the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce named its annual community relations honor (which is presented to a local company) the Gulfstream Community Involvement Award.

Our employees donate their time to many community organizations ― serving on boards of directors and contributing their expertise in a variety of ways.

Educational Support

In support of the public school system in Savannah, Gulfstream launched the Student Leadership Program for freshmen. Working in collaboration with the community, the SLP is intended to build the leadership and personal skills that will support our future workforce. As a good corporate citizen, we recognize our responsibility to lead the way in forming school-business partnerships.

Gulfstream employees not only assisted in developing the SLP, they also serve as community advisers and mentors for students.
