Volker’s career in aviation started over 28 years ago while working for a small aviation company doing corporate jet interior refurbishments and building interior conversions for C-130 cargo planes. He was later hired by K.C Aviation to work in their completion cabinet shop. After holding various lead positions and eventually becoming a vendor liaison, he also played a key role in developing the new CNC router department increasing accuracy and efficiencies in our cabinet manufacturing. After Gulfstream acquired K.C. Aviation in 1998, Volker became a Customer Service Representative, and later a Customer Program Manager at the inception the program. Volker is originally from Germany, which gives him unique insight and appreciation into the needs and challenges faced by many of our international customers. Volker is an FAA rated private pilot, and has an FAA A&P license. He also has an Associates Degree in Aviation Maintenance and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Technology, but he credits his Eagle Scout rank as one of his most valued educational experiences. |
