President, Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. and a Vice President of General Dynamics
Larry Flynn was named president of Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. in 2011. He also serves as a vice president of General Dynamics Corp., Gulfstream's parent company.
Prior to becoming president, Flynn was the senior vice president of Marketing and Sales for Gulfstream Aerospace. He was responsible for worldwide sales of the company's business-jet aircraft.
Before that, Flynn was the president of Product Support for Gulfstream and what was formerly known as General Dynamics Aviation Services.
Flynn, who joined Gulfstream in 1995 as vice president, has more than 25 years of experience in managing aircraft service facilities. Prior to joining Gulfstream, he was vice president, Location Based Services, for Stevens Aviation, where he was responsible for managing six service facilities and overseeing service on various models of corporate jets. Earlier, Flynn served as a regional vice president for Signature Flight Support and as executive vice president and general manager for AMR Combs.
After earning a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Kansas, he completed a master's degree in manpower management from the same university.
Flynn is a past member of the Board of Directors for the Professional Aviation Maintenance Association (PAMA), the national association for aviation maintenance professionals. He currently serves as an Advisory Board member for the Gulfstream chapter of the National Management Association.
