GULFSTREAM AEROSPACE APPOINTS JOHN HODSKINS DIVISION VICE PRESIDENT, MID-SIZE ACCOUNTS
Savannah, Georgia - October 8, 2001 - - John Hodskins has been named western division vice president, sales, mid-size accounts, for Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. He will be responsible for the sale of Gulfstream V-SP, Gulfstream V, Gulfstream IV-SP, and will oversee the mid-size sales efforts for the Gulfstream 200® and Gulfstream 100® aircraft. He will manage the sale of mid-size aircraft for the western U.S. division, consisting of the Midwest, Rocky Mountain, Southwest, Texas and Pacific Northwest regions.
Hodskins, who has more than 30 years of aircraft sales experience, most recently served as Galaxy Aerospace Corp.'s eastern division vice president of sales. Galaxy Aerospace was purchased by Gulfstream's parent company, General Dynamics (NYSE:GD) in June. Prior to joining Galaxy in 1998, he served as the vice president, sales and marketing, for Kal-Aero, Inc., a provider of aircraft services in Battle Creek, Mich.
During his career, Hodskins also has been senior vice president, sales and marketing for Allen Testproducts; senior vice president, sales, for Hauseman, Inc.; vice president and general manager, Citation division, for Cessna Aircraft; national program manager for Xerox; and a pilot for Air West Airlines and Northwest Airlines. Earlier, he was an industrial marketing instructor for Western Michigan University and consultant to the university's Service Quality Institute.

After completing a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering science from the University of Colorado, Hodskins earned an MBA with an emphasis in marketing and finance from Western Michigan University.
