GULFSTREAM AEROSPACE HIRES WOLFGANG SCHNEIDER AS VICE PRESIDENT, CENTRAL EUROPEAN SALES
Moscow, Russia, August 14, 2001 - Wolfgang Schneider has been hired as vice president, Central European sales, for Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. He will oversee sales of Gulfstream aircraft in Central Europe, including Germany, Austria, Eastern Europe, Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States.
Before joining Gulfstream, Schneider served as director of sales for Cessna Citation aircraft in Central Europe. In that position, he sold 120 aircraft at an average of 1.5 aircraft a month, establishing a sales record for Cessna.
With 20 years of business aviation sales experience, Schneider also worked as director of aircraft Sales/Europe for Dornier Regional; director of worldwide sales for Grob Aircraft; and sales manager for Aero-Dienst, a German business jet distributer.
"Wolfgang's experience and extensive knowledge of the business aviation market in Europe are a great asset for Gulfstream," said Tarek Ragheb, division vice president, international sales, Europe, Middle East and Africa. "It's obvious by his impressive aircraft sales record that he is not only an astute salesman, but also a great resource to his customers."
