GULFSTREAM 200® FILES FOR TWO CITY-PAIR RECORDS
Gulfstream Seeks NAA Recognition of World-Record Flights
Savannah, GA, March 1, 2001 - Gulfstream Aerospace, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), has filed applications for two new world-speed records with the FAI (Federation Aeronautique Internationale) for nonstop flights by its Gulfstream 200 super mid-size business jet aircraft.
On February 23, 2002 the G200 completed the following flights:

"We are very pleased with its success and are especially excited about the recent order for three Gulfstream 200s from Hainan Airlines," he added. "The balanced performance of this super mid-size aircraft ensures flights from Tokyo to Singapore and Berlin to Delhi are nonstop."
Gulfstream has filed for city-pairs records in weight class C-1H.
Captain Scott Evans, chief pilot and Captain Brad Robinson, co-pilot, and Captain Steve Johnson, senior international pilot and Captain Kevin Bixler, co-pilot flew the record-breaking flights.
Data on each of the two legs has been submitted to the National Aeronautic Association, the U.S. representative of the FAI, for review.
From a comfort perspective, the Gulfstream 200 has the largest cabin volume in the super
mid-size business jet category and is powered by twin Pratt & Whitney Canada PW306A engines, each rated at 6,040 pounds.
