GULFSTREAM SALES FORCE REORGANIZED TO FOCUS ON EXPANDING MARKET SHARE
Realignment of Responsibilities for Key Accounts and New Business
SAVANNAH, Ga., Jan. 27, 2003 - Gulfstream Aerospace, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), has announced a reorganization of its North American and pre-owned sales organizations to better align individual talents and skills in promoting Gulfstream's recently expanded business jet aircraft fleet to new businesses and key accounts.
"The organization is now structured to take maximum advantage of the competitive opportunity provided by the new product line," said Bill Boisture, Gulfstream president.
In September 2002, Gulfstream announced its new product line, which includes the large-cabin, ultra-long-range Gulfstream G550; the large-cabin, ultra-long-range Gulfstream G500; the large-cabin, long-range Gulfstream G400; the large-cabin, mid-range Gulfstream G300; the large-cabin, mid-range Gulfstream G200; the wide-cabin, high-speed Gulfstream G150; and the mid-cabin, high-speed Gulfstream G100.
"This comprehensive new product line allows Gulfstream to compete at all price and performance points in the mid- through ultra-long-range business jet market," Boisture added.

Additionally, Gulfstream has created the position of director, interior outfitting, to support the aircraft sales team. Pat Franssen, who has 24 years of aircraft interior design experience, will provide leadership in this new position by defining aircraft interior configurations earlier in the aircraft sales process.
