GULFSTREAM INCREASES THE NUMBER OF SPARE PARTS IN ITS GULFSAVE PROGRAM BY MORE THAN 1,000 ITEMS
Gulfstream Provides Customers Wider Array of Market-Priced, High-Demand Components and Reduces Prices
SAVANNAH, Ga., Oct. 28, 2003 -- Gulfstream Aerospace, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), has increased the number of spare parts offered under its GulfSave program by 1,069, while reducing prices on every one of them.
The GulfSave program was introduced five years ago to address the rising cost of aircraft spare parts. Since that time, Gulfstream has increased the number of items offered to nearly 1,500 parts, while significantly reducing component prices.
"As part of Gulfstream's industry-leading product support organization, GulfSave was created to ensure our customers have available to them competitively priced, high-demand parts when they need them," said Larry Flynn, president, product support, Gulfstream. "In addition to competitive prices and quick turn-around, our customers can expect Gulfstream's high level of customer service with every transaction conducted."
All GulfSave items are sold "a-la-carte," unlike many original equipment manufacturers who compel operators to purchase spare parts packages that often include unneeded parts. In addition, all GulfSave spare parts include an ironclad one-year warranty, backed by 46 years of business aviation expertise.
Gulfstream II, III, IV, V, G300, G400, G500 and G550 operators who choose GulfSave spare parts have the advantage of a single point of contact, 1-800-810-GULF. Experienced salespersons ensure the correct parts are identified, available and shipped from the nearest Gulfstream parts distribution center.
