GULFSTREAM HIRES SHERMAN GRIFFITH AS SALES DIRECTOR, KEY ACCOUNTS, TEXAS
Griffith will represent all six in-production models of Gulfstream business-jet aircraft
SAVANNAH , Ga. , Jan. 23, 2007 – Gulfstream Aerospace has hired Sherman Griffith as sales director of Key Accounts for the state of Texas . In this position, Griffith will represent all six in-production models of Gulfstream business-jet aircraft.
Previously, Griffith was senior vice president for the Corporate Aircraft Finance arm of Bank of America Leasing. Prior to that, he was vice president at Fleet Capital Leasing before its merger with Bank of America in 2004. Earlier in his career, he served as a regional sales manager for SimuFlite Training International, where he managed two multi-state territories, which included Texas and five other states.
Griffith earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Texas at Arlington . He holds a commercial pilot license and is a glider instructor. Griffith is a two-time U.S. Open Class National Soaring Champion and a member of the U.S. Soaring Team that competed in the 1995 World Soaring Championships in New Zealand .
