GULFSTREAM PROMOTES KURTINA POLLEN TO CUSTOMER COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER, PRODUCT SUPPORT
SAVANNAH, Ga., June 2, 2008 – Gulfstream Aerospace, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE:GD), recently promoted Kurtina Pollen to customer communications manager, Product Support. In this position, Pollen will be responsible for ensuring effective communication with Gulfstream customers through a variety of media, including newsletters, forums, conferences and the customer support Web site.
Customer Communications Manager, Product Support
Pollen joined Gulfstream in 1997. She most recently served as the information technology (IT) business partner for Gulfstream Product Support. While at Gulfstream, she has worked as an information services representative, an IT business partner supporting the engineering department, a senior desktop system analyst and a help desk analyst. Before joining Gulfstream, Pollen worked in the IT departments for Chatham County and Savannah Foods and Industries.
Pollen earned a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from Savannah State University and a master’s degree in technical management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. She is a Certified Project Manager. Pollen reports to Tim Steinhauser, senior manager, Technical Training and Customer Relations, Gulfstream Product Support.
